add set function for target

hi;

I've Downloaded Samples from here(Core Features part)

and it's nice and run so good.

but now i want to make my own app; so i create my DB and replace it with The DB which was in Sample folder means StonesAndChips.dat and StonesAndChips.xml

i expected to when i do that the Teapot shown at my custom target; But it doesn't!

what should i do if i want to make my own app with my own target and with anything i want to show on my target?

i have to say i don't want to show 3D Models, just some 2D object like Photos or Videos.
