Android black screen AR camera

Hello everyoneI am working with version 4.2.1f4 of unity and the SDK v2.6.7 vuforia. When I try the application on an android version 4.1, the screen is black. I've tried several solutions of other posts and any have not worked me. Is there any permanent solution?Thank you

Hi, could you add a few more details:

- do you see the issue on a specific device only? or several ?

- what is the model number of the specific device where you see black screen

- is it a custom application or one of the official Vuforia samples ?

Hi

I see the issue in a mobile and a tablet.
The model mobile is the sony xperia s and the tablet model is the kindle fire hdx 8,9, both with the version of android 4.2
Its a custom application that use the AR Camera and ImageTarget prefabs.

I have found what exactly gives me problem.
In the player settings, if I choose any landscape in the orientation, I get the screen black, if I choose portrait appears the camera well.

@Vuforia engineers: Does anyone maintain a list / database of devices that have reported AR Camera --> device camera access fail ("black screen") with any specifics as to reproducible use cases, and conjectures / possible fixes?

Hi,

I have the same problem here, black screen in the editor and on the device also. GUI buttons work well, so the application itself is fine, just the ARcamera doesn't get picture.

Unity version: 5.5.0f3 64 bit

Vuforia version: 6-0-114 for Unity

Android Studio 2.2.3

vuforia-unity-6-2-6

MacOS Sierra Version 10.12.2

App can be built for iOS, but not for Android. Black screen for Android.

I had this problem too and only fixed it by uninstalling Unity and reinstalling version 5.3.6. Starting over in this way worked.
