Hello,
I've imported an .fbx animated model (made with 3d studio max) in unity, and build the project with vuforia for iOS (iPAD), and the result is ok (very good!).
But doing the same for Android is not ok for animations: everything works, but the movement (o simple rotation) is "not fluent", not continuous (it's like to see a movie with 5 frames/second (instead of 25 or 30 frames/second).
I've tested the build on several devices (samsung galaxy note, galaxy tab 1 10', nexus, galaxy S) and there's always this problem.
I've been searching on this forum and on the web about this problem, and I'm surprised at having found nothing about it...
Any help please..? (hope there's something i'm doing wrong).
Thank you, cheers!
Animations for android not fluent
Hi, FBX animations can be very demanding on both the CPU and the GPU;
it really depends on the processors (CPU/GPU) used by these devices;
Animations for android not fluent
Thanks for your answer, ok, I'll check this.
I'd like to know if other people have had the same problem with fbx and android??
And what's the best way to use complex animations on android? (if there's a way...)
