Applying AR on an external video stream. Is it possible?

Hello everyone, hope you are fine,

My team and me are developping a project for a school contest,

In our system, the vuforia API will run on a google glass device, the video stream will come from an external camera.We are already able to get the video stream on google glass (video is encoded in H264 format).My team and me wants to apply augmented reality with vuforia on the video stream and to display it on the google glass' screen.Is it possible to do it?I have seen that external camera are not supported source : " https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/qcar-api/external-camera ", but this is not exactly an external camera so I still have hope that it could works.Thank you!
