I am using Unity 2017.3 64 bit and I installed Vuforia 7.0.47.
I have browsed through all the forum threads and online tutorials, but the Google Cardboard doesn't seem to work at all (Black Screen all the time).
https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/Integrating-Cardboard-to-the-ARVR-Sample
https://github.com/googlevr/gvr-unity-sdk/issues/661
To be clear, I have tried all permutations of Viewer Config and Viewer type.
So far I have been successful in only getting a display similar to that of an eyewear but not the stereoscopic display of cardboard.
Viewer Config = Cardboard --------- NOT working at all (Black screen)
Viewer Config = Vuforia Viewer Type = Cardboard V1 (Google) --------- Only getting Eyewear type display, not Cardboard display
Viewer Config = Vuforia Viewer Type = Generic Cardboard (Vuforia) --------- Only getting Eyewear type display, not Cardboard display
If you have experienced similar issues and fixed it, please suggest solutions.
Please don't ask me to install 32 bit Unity all over again unless you've tried that and have been successful while doing so :)
Exact same issues, have you
I managed to resolve this by going into build settings > player settings > XR settings and adding in Vuforia and Daydream into the VR SDK's
Cardboard is known to have
Cardboard is known to have issues with Vuforia 7 and is being deprecated in future releases. It is recommended to use the Vuforia VR SDK as MobiusGrey suggests.

Could you please specify
Could you please specify which exactly settings did you use to accomplish cardboard use with Vuforia? I mean which one, Vuforia and Daydream, did you put first, what did you set in Vuforia's configuration regarding Digital Eyewear e.t.c.?
Thank you!
