The function renderFrame in ImageTargetRenderer.java is where you'll be able to replace the teapot with your custom 3d model. The native Android sample project uses OpenGL to do its rendering. This article goes over some information for rendering your own models in OpenGL https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/Working-with-Vuforia-and-OpenGL-ES#How-To-Render-Static-3D-Models-using-OpenGL-ES

Hello conscript0,

In the java Android Studio sample, you can modify which Image Target dataset is used in ImageTargets.java and you can modify what is rendered when the target is detected in ImageTargetRenderer.java. Look over those files and let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
