doStopTrackers is not working in Android

I am using a button to stop and start tracking. When I click on Stop Tracking I call doStopTrackers funtion. This function execute perfectly without any error but still scanning does not stop.

I tried onPause and onResume functions too but it freeze my screen when I call onPause. It didn't help.

Please let me know the solution. I am using Vuforia version 5.5.9
