Error After Refactoring Project

March 19, 2014 - 8:45am #1

Hello,

I just finished an AR app that uses two Image Targets, two Videos (one per target), and two Images that I have configured as buttons. I tested and ensured everything worked perfectly, but then I made the mistake of Refactoring my package name before backing up my project. After refactoring the package name, I am receiving this error:

03-19 08:38:20.054: E/AndroidRuntime(8352): FATAL EXCEPTION: GLThread 811
03-19 08:38:20.054: E/AndroidRuntime(8352): java.lang.NullPointerException

I have no idea where to start searching for the origin of this error. Mods, anyone, do you have any suggestions for where I should look? I tried refactoring the project back to its original name and still no dice. This project is extremely time sensative, so any help at all will be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks for your response. Fortunately, I figured out the issue. It was a simple error in my Video Filename string!

Hi, I wish i could help, but the stack trace does not tell so much on the possible cause;

since you have refactored your code and renamed your package, the best is to compare the code before and after the refactoring ... this is really about application development, we cannot do much to help here...
