Hi, the best way would be to display a Popup dialog (or other UI message) telling the user to check the time/date settings.

The dialog can be shown by intercepting the clock sync error, as shown in the CloudReco sample code

Hi!

 

I've had the exact same error. Now I'm building my own app based on Cloud Recognition, and I've realized that it wasn't working in some phones because of this.

Is there any turnaround for this?

 

How I'm I going to explain to the user that must update date and time to use this?

Hi, this error indicates that your device is out-of-sync, i.e. the Time and Date are not set correctlty, or maybe the time is right but the TimeZone is incorrect;

these need to be accurately set to your actual local time and time zone, otherwise the Cloud connection will fail with that message.
