It should not complain about QCARUnity.jar, unless you have mistakenly added also a dependency on such Jar in your QCARJava project;  so, you may want to check that.

Also, keep the 2 projects (QCARUnity and QCARJava) simultaneously open in eclipse to see if it makes any difference.

Other than that, if nothing works, I would suggest to try to do the exercise from scratch following the steps in the tutorial once again.

I mean that you should have 2 projects open in Eclipse: one is QCARUnity (or whatever name you have given to it), while the other is QCARJava;

in the QCARUnity project you have to tick the IsLibrary checkbox;

in the QCARJava project, you have to right click on the project and go to Properties > Android, then add the QCARUnity project as a referenced project. That's it.

Sir. what do you mean by the QCARUnity must not be added as a JAR, but as a referenced project in Android / Properties of your QCARJava project..?

what i do is follow the instruction that you will check "Is Library" in the QCARUnity folder . and you will add QCARUnity  to QCARJava by adding it that you say.  i do that.  but still. it says missing jar.  :(

don't know what to do.

sir , thanks for the reply. but i hope you can help me in any way.

Ok, thanks for the screenshot; it looks like you have misunderstood this step:

 right-click again on “QCARJava” and select Properties> Android, scroll the page down until you see a Reference Projects table, and add the “QCARUnity” project to the list of referenced projects;

The QCARUnity must not be added as a JAR, but as a referenced project in Android / Properties of your QCARJava project.

Hi, sorry that you did no manage to achieve it, but the steps in the tutorial are detailed to the best of my knowledge, so, the only thing I can do is to invite you to read and try again

https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/faq/unity-how-can-i-extend-unitys-android-activity

note that this has been successfully implemented by many developers, as reported in other threads in this forum, so you should be able to get there.

sir, it is said that i can try what ever i named to it, but i try the sample name in the instruction for easy finding and exporting it. I also check "Is library" but nothing happens..  what's the logic or how it can produce  a jar file?  i know that vuforia.jar other jar is given there. but how can you exported folder produce a jar that is same name like you exported.

QCARUnity is just the name of the Android project exported from Unity (i.e. the one that comes from the stagingArea directory, as explained in the tutorial).

Perhaps you have named it differently ? (the name does not really matter, it's just how you name it in Eclipse)

Or maybe you have not set it as "IsLibrary" ?

sir.  i follow it again and again and still the same problem occurs. there is no qcarunity . . can you help me?  thanks sir.

Yes, referring to the steps described in that tutorial, yes the QCARUnity must be set as Library and referenced from QCARJava as library.

Perhaps, try and go again through all the steps from scratch; make sure to copy the necessary assets and libraries from one project to the other as highlighted in the steps, and make sure that both project use the same target API version (e.g. Android 2.3 or whatever you have chosen in the Unity project), and the same package name (for instance "com.myorg.myprojects",   as you have specified in the Bundle ID of your Unity projects in Player Settings for Android).

If you follow all the steps accurately, you should be able to make it work, as many other people have been succcesfull with it.

yes sir. i've follow those steps,  but when i run the program it has errors and that error is missing qcarunity in that directory of QCARUnity in bin folder.
I'm i right that in the step QCARUnity is the Library of QcarJava ? . thanks

Have you checked this article ?

If you follow it step-by-step you should be able to achieve this.
