July 10, 2013 - 4:21am #1

I read "Camera Target Patch", it can PATCH target region, but I want to get the image data of the target region (e.g. something in a framemarker) , how can I get it?

I managed to get the 4 corners of the detected target on the camera, but i cannot  extract the target from the full camera image that i get from  "How can i access camera image?" page.

I tried to do cropping it in Java part, but it gives the error that the image that i get from JNI is smaller than the cropping values i entered. It gets 640x480 images from C++ part.

How to obtain coordinates of 4 corners of the target area? Then I can use cameraPointToScreenPoint mentioned in the following article:

Hi, this article explains how to capture the camera view (the whole camera image):

If you want to extract only a portion (patch) of it, you will need to project the 4 corners of your desired rectangle from 3D space into screen coordinates, so to obtain a 2D quadrilateral and then extract the pixels within the projected quadrilateral.
