Hi,

I have followed all the steps mentioned below, but still not able to use targets in my cloud db. Please help

  1. click on one of your uploaded image targets and upload a metadata text file (that you create beforehand, for instance create a simple text file and call it my_metadata.txt) containing this line of text:
    • samplebook1.json
  2. take note of the client access and secret keys of your database (pay attention to use the client keys, and not the server ones)
  3. use them to replace the current keys in CloudReco.h
  4. recompile (using ndk-build) the sample and run it

The best recommendation is that you read the sample code and the documentation about Vuforia in the Developer Guide and the API reference:

https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/dev-guide/getting-started

https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/api/index

for your specific case, this tutorial also explains how to open an Android view (such as a Web View) when a target is detected:

https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/dev-guide/open-web-site-and-display-toast-target-detection

Hi, you simply need to perform these steps:

  1. click on one of your uploaded image targets and upload a metadata text file (that you create beforehand, for instance create a simple text file and call it my_metadata.txt) containing this line of text:
    • samplebook1.json
  2. take note of the client access and secret keys of your database (pay attention to use the client keys, and not the server ones)
  3. use them to replace the current keys in CloudReco.h
  4. recompile (using ndk-build) the sample and run it

The above should do the trick.
