One more thing:

this article:

https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/faq/android-how-integrate-cloudreco-imagetargets-sample

shows how to integrate Cloud Reco functionalities into the ImageTargets sample; although it does not address VideoPlayback specifically,

it could also be a useful reading and maybe could be of additional help for your goal.

WHat I am saying is that the video playback sample contains all the necessary code to enable the playback of a video (or more videos) on a target.

Then, the fcat that the target image is detected using Cloud Reco or a Device Database makes little difference; of course you need to make some changes to the existing code, and this requires a bit of patience and understanding what the sample code does, but all the logic and code is there.

We don't have a specific tutorial that guides you step by step in how to integrate VideoPlayback and CloudReco, but you can take a look at the "Sample Specific Notes" sections of the two samples, which explains the main elements of the sample code.

Hi, the texture of the CloudReco sample (the book with price) is generated dynamically, by retrieving some data from a remote server (which contains a few book data) and building the images on the fly; then the geenrated texture is passed to OpenGL;

the code is spread across different classes, have a look at CloudReco.java (see the productView variable and how it is updated in the updateProductView() method);

also have a look at the generateProductTextureInOpenGL() in CloudReco.cpp.

Hi, see reply here:

https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/android/how-change-target-images-cloudrecognization-sample-application

Note/ if you look at the VideoPlayback sample code, this will show you two things:

- how to display a video on the target

- how to display an image on the target
