You also need to remove the unnecessary code from ImageTargets.java; for instance, if you remove the loadTrackerData() function in C++, also make sure to remove the call to loadTrackerData() in Java, and so on, for any function that you remove from C++, check the corresponding function declarations and function calls in Java.

Hi, the goal of the tutorial showing how to integrate Cloud reco with the Image Targets sample is just to illustrate how you can enable the Cloud reco functionality (which is a bit more sophisticated) with a minimal amount of extra code on top of our simplest Image Targets sample;

so, that tutorial is primarily meant to facilitate the understanding of the basics of the Cloud Reco feature, and how to use the API.

At the same time, such integration also shows that it is possible to use Device Database (such as ChipsAndStones in the sample) and Cloud databases in the same app.

Of course, you can always remove one of the two (e.g. you can avoid loading/using Device targets if you only want to use Cloud targets);

if you want to use specific image targets, you can either upload the images to a Cloud Database, and then use Cloud Reco reature to detect it, or you can upload your images to a Device Database, download the .DAT and .XML and adjust the sample code to use your files instead of ChipsAndStones or Tarmac.

But that's just your choice; Cloud Reco and Device Database targets are completely independent from each other, so you can use one, the other, or both simultaneously.

and suppose if i need to change target images insted chips and stones to  rose and jasmine flowers images that time where should i need to change images in both the databases  cloud database nd device database right?

Hi,

Not sure I get your question...

if you have integrated CloudReco with Image Targets following my tutorial (as I seem to understand), then your app will be able to detect and track both Image targets from Devie DB and from Cloud; in both cases, it will augment each detected target with a teapot.
