I wish to make an app for Android. I am using Vuforia SDK on Android (Java) and would like to know if there is any alternative for displaying text labels with varying fonts, sizes and colors on the detected image targets rather than manually writing OpenGL ES code.
I have checked the Vuforia sample app code and I managed to detect the various custom image targets I am interested in. But I am not familiar with OpenGL so cannot proceed further. I tried Rajawali & LibGDX but unfortunately their sample apps have not been updated for the latest changes in Vuforia SDK API. So I would like to know how I can achieve the same without needing to learn OpenGL.
Thanks!
hey,
hey,
did you find any solution to this? is this possible to add a label in the real world when a target image is detected?
