huge Lagg after detecting object

Hey  

i just created a model in sketchup and imported(.dae with texture) it in unity vuforia all works fine on detecting the object in pc

but when i detect it on android phone camera there is a huge Fps drops. do i have to optimize  something ?

Hello,

Ideally, Vuforia is optimized for the mobile platform. But Vuforia has no control over the Unity rendering thread.

What does it look like if you use a simpler model? Like a cube of sphere? I'm wondering if the model has so many triangles that it is stuggling to render at a high frame rate. You could also try removing Vuforia from the project to see if it eliminates our SDK as the source.

I tried on note 9 still i am getting low frame rates.any way i could optimize object for mobile devices

Hello,

Usually low frame rates are a result of the device's hardware capabilities. Mostly, not all devices have the same performance especially when running computationally intensive features such as Ground Plane and Model Targets.
