good day, i would like to know something.. if you want to create a ar application with unity do you need to install all the stuff at the getting started -SDKpart or can u just follow the instructions at the getting started - unity extension part. as for now i haven't been able to use the imagetarget sample app.

You need to set-up the underlying build environments for Android and/or iOS as well. I advise using the process defined in our Getting Started - SDK documents. This will give you known-good build environment for the extension, which will be helpful going forward if you need assistance debugging.

no i'm only focussing at android at first since i am a complete noob at this stuff.. i've tried using the process described you told me about. unity seems to export to android just fine. i can install the apk on my tablet but whenever i try to start it it gives me a error.

Do you see any errors when you run the scenes in Unity's Play Mode (i.e. when you hit the play button )? - or any errors in the Unity console when building the app? Also if you've installed Eclipse, run it while executing the Build & Run from Unity, and open the DDMS panel in Eclipse.

no i don't see any errors while when i'm building the app. when i press the play button in unity it only changes view to the camera that's been used in the scene. i've tried it with different vuforia examples. i can't connect my tablet with my pc because windows 7 won't recognize the device.
