Multiple 3D content and one image target

July 17, 2013 - 2:53am #1

Hello,

I want to create a AR app with only one image target, but five 3D-objects (with different scale, rotation and transformation) on it. Is this possible with opengl 1.1 and without unity. Can anybody give me an advice how to program this?

Thank you for helping me. :)

Best regards,
Sarah

Hi, yes, this is definitely possible, both with OpenGL ES 1.1 and OpenGL ES 2.0;

if you look at the Image Targets sample, for instance, in the ImageTargets.cpp you can find a function called _renderFrame();

this is where you have to adjust your code so that for each target pose (see in particular the line of code with " result->getPose()  ") you can hook your custom opengl code to render your models.
