Hi Everybody,

I´m new and newbie too.

I have some curiosity, if I can respond to, will be grateful.

- It is very difficult to use or Vuforia is somewhat intuitive?

- Can I create projects such as POPAR TOYS?

- Meeting tutorials on Qualcomm's site and elsewhere? (Please indicate)

- Works with Android 2.3 (Galaxy Y - S5360)? - I also have a tablet with version 4.03

Thanks

To interact with 3D objects, you'll use RayCasting. Here is an example - https://ar.qualcomm.at/content/touch-object

And yes a Unity app can display various objects. You can either build these into the application, or load them at runtime from a server using AssetBundles. Here is a tutorial on AssetBundles - http://unity3d.com/support/resources/example-projects/assetbundles

Is this what you mean by 'display various objects separately'?

I already know tutorials for Unity and the program itself. What I would like to know is how to create the interaction with objects through the application, as in the case of the domino that appears in the samples, using Unity 3D. I wonder also how to make a single application to display various objects separately, like happens in the Popar Toys books. Is possible with Unity? If yes, could you point me some tutorials to help me to develop projects like this?

Thanks

Yes I would recommend using Unity in that case, and you can certainly use animation and interactive behaviors w/ your Vuforia apps.

Take at look at Unity's sample projects for examples of how to implement animation and interactivity. This one provides a thorough tutorial - http://unity3d.com/support/resources/tutorials/3d-platform-game

Thank you for your suggestion, David

I created a project in Unity 3D and is really easy when I´m using the plugin. I´m very excited about this. Can I create animations and show this in the application? How to create interaction models?

I really don´t know programming in java very well and nothing about C + +. Do you think that I'll have much trouble? Better stay even in Unity?

Thanks

Yes you can create projects like POPAR's, and there is documentation here that will explain how to design and develop such projects - https://ar.qualcomm.at/developer_guide

Also take a look at the Vuforia samples - https://ar.qualcomm.at/sdk

Keep in mind the the native Android SDK requires knowledge of Java , C++ and OpenGL. If you aren't familiar with these, I'd strongly recommend that you consider using our Unity extension for Android. Unity handles 3D scene rendering and enables your to develop your apps using an authoring workflow.
