Post New Target from Android Activity

I have downloaded VWS API's Java samples and after I got to know that those sample files are implemented for Standalone Java Applications.

I want to know that is there any way to perform functionalities like Post New Target, Get Target Metadata, Update Target etc... to Cloud Database from an Android Appliction (from an Activity) by using VWS API.
