Hi everybody;

I have a game project like this.

puzzle -> imageTargets -> question -> puzzle  -> imageTargets -> question ... and it goes on like this. (these are my classes and on the screen there are a button to switch between them)

but when 2nd puzzle come, than go to the  imageTargets class i have an error like that on telephone screen;

Failed to initialize QCAR.

and also I have an error like this on logcat;

E/QCAR(31031): InitQCARTask::onPostExecute: Failed to initialize QCAR. Exiting.

I searched on the forum and found a solution something like adding timer but I addded a timer to some classes but the error still continues.
What can I do?

Thanks..

My friend tripatano I face the same problem.I call ImageTargets more than once in two consecutive activities and I have the same error when I try to call ImageTargets for the second time!

Please where did you call onDestroy?Into your ImageTargets.java or into other activity and how?

I know that it's a matter of one line code but I am stuck.

Please anyone can know help!

My application has the same ImageTargets.java class from Image Targets sample so I have these methods. I have a loop game so I call ImageTargets.java class many times in a loop.(also another classes called between each of them). But I dont know how can I handle this situation with this functions?

edit: OK, i called onDestroy function when the page changing and solve the problem.
Thank you for your help

Hi, not sure what your game app does, but in general a QCAR initialization error can occur if QCAR has already been initialized (for instance if you pause and resume the app and you don't call the right QCAR methods).

You can check the ImageTargets sample, onCreate, onDestroy, onPause and onResume() methods to see how to correctly handle this.
