Hi,
Vuforia so far only supports ARM based devices.
Recently, I started to notice that from Q2, 2013, some makers(so far I know - Lenovo) will release their android smart phone based on Intel Atom(Lenovo K900).
I worry about that once those x86 android devices released(if lucky, get popular), we cannot claim that we support all android devices(2.3 or above) anymore.
So just wonder, Is there any plan to release the Vuforia SDK with x86 support?
Thanks!

Hi, at the moment there are no official plans concerning x86;
but we are continuously monitoring the market and when appropriate and feasible, we will support new platforms

Hi, thanks for your reply! That would be great if those x86 systems could offer such ARM-compatible layer on it :)
Thanks again!

You're welcome. Maybe worth doing a search in the web if you want to to get confirmation and/or more details on the subject (ARM vs x86 on Android...).

Hi,
Any new updates regarding the Vuforia compatibility for x86 devices? We are having a lot of customers complain about tablets with Intel Atom processors that do not run our game- Kazooloo.
Appreciate your answer,

As of today, and as of SDK version 5.0.x, Vuforia can run on devices equipped with x86 processors, provided that these support the ARM emulation mode.
