Scale down 2D picture size and re-position it [ImageTarget].

March 18, 2012 - 7:46am #1

Hi guys, i'm so new to Android, editing C++ code and JNI.
https://ar.qualcomm.at/arforums/showthread.php?t=834&highlight=image+plane
I followed the above link and get the result: displaying 2d image instead of 3D model. But the 2d pic is too big(covers the target image) and i mostly don't understand the code for rendering + sizing and open GL code.

I wish to to re-size at will and position the 2d image anywhere on the screen , top left corner for example.
1 more thing, how can i get the name of the Trackable (such as : 'stone','chips') and pass it to Java so that i can do some database query with it?

I'm not familiar with JNI, so i don't know much about passing some value from C++ to Java.

Please guide me.

Thanks in advance
p/s i'll be asking alot more stuffs :)

This post will show you how to pass the trackable name to Java and display it in a Toast message: http://ar.qualcomm.at/node/2000032
