State of Autofocus with ARCore

Hi,

We are wondering if broken autofocus with ARCore issue has been fixed in the latest 8.5.8 SDK? If I understand correctly, support for autofocus has been added into ARCore a while ago.

Our app (native) use 8.3.8 and we are experiencing this issue, and this is quite a major problem for us.

Anyone from Vuforia can shed some light on this?

We just need to understand the official state of this, and redesign our app around the limitation if we have to.

Hi,

The functioning of focus modes on a device is solely based upon the OEM's implementation. Vuforia does not have its own implementation, so our APIs call native OS APIs.
