I have an issue with playing a Video on the texture using a modified version of the VideoPlayback Sample App. Testing using a Nexus 7 Tablet running Anroid 4.2.2 but when I test the exact same app using a Samsung Galaxy S2 running Android 4.0.4 for 5/8 of my videos I get the error:
"Cannot play this video on texture, it was either not requested on load or is not supported on this plattform"
Initially I thought it could be an encoding issue with the video but I have tried changing the video that loads sucessfully for a different Trigger Image but I still get the same error.

Have you tried using the VideoPlayback sample with your videos, replacing one of the 2 sample videos with each one of your 8 videos ?
(you can do that by replacing one video at a time, then running the sample once for each video, so to see if some of them are having issues)

I have yes, the videos themselves aren't the problem. After a bit of digging I think the issue is that the Galaxy S2 seems to have a limit of 4 videos it is able to load in. My solution is going to be only have one Video player helper that loads in a new video when the trigger is changed.

Yes, it sounds like it; actually the general solution to this problem is to unload videos that are no longer used, and load new ones.
