use VLC play video on imageTarget

Using VLC framework on imageTarget  can't play the video but can play while full screen.VideoPlayback demo  use MediaPlayer play video in android and I want to use VLC to play video.And if I want to use the MediaPlayer to play the stream video on URL,what should i do with the MediaPlayer? Please help me. Thanks!!
