Hello.

Can we use Vuforia SDK for Android with NativeActivity only (e.g. without using JNI calls and Eclipse)?

Hi,

the initialization is currently only supported in Java, via the QCAR.init(); at the moment there is no plan to expose an API equivament in C++.

You may want to put the request in our Wish List section:

Thanks for your answer!

As I understand QCAR.jar does some initialization. Why we can't do it from C++?

No, you will still need QCAR.jar; and also you will still need a bit of Java, as indicated in the Tutorial (sorry if i was not very clear in my previous message).

So, we can init and start Vuforia without including QCAR.jar?

Here is what we want to to do. We have project fully written in C++ and we want to  develop it in MS Visual Studio and deploy via NVIDIA Tegra Android Development Pack.

So, we need to know how we can use Vuforia SDK with such workflow.

Hi,

it should be possible to do that; we also have a sort of tutorial trying to guide you through the necessary steps:
