I am new to Vuforia and Augmented Reality in particular. Here is what I wanted to do, but I can't now. When I scan the Image A with my application, i want to show my Image, can do It? If it can, please tell me how to do that ?

Yes, you can do that; simply take the target Pose and render a quad with your own image instead of rendering the teapot 3D model shown in the samples.

The article still refers to the C++ version of the VP sample, which in 2.8.7 has been replaced by a fully Java version;
the Java version of the sample however is simpler, so, you should be able to find your way in the sample code.
