Hi,
I've recently had some Android apps that use Vuforia flagged for accessing personally identifiable information (e.g. Android ID and advertising ID). The rejection notices aren't particularly useful in tracking down which component of the app is responsible, they simply say to check all SDKs. Could I please get a simple definitive 'yes' or 'no' whether Vuforia accesses either of these IDs, so I can rule it out as the culprit and move on to checking other SDKs I use.
If it's a 'yes', please let me know how to turn it off!
Many thanks, Julian.
Hi Julian.
Hi Julian.
I think that you're heading in the right direction. Vuforia Engine does collect data from user's devices:

Hi,
Hi,
I am checking internally to confirm, however as pointed out by @michalSBIT we collect the data referenced in https://developer.vuforia.com/legal/statistics. However at this point in time I am not aware if this type of data is considered PII.
Thank you.
Hi mcotora,
Hi mcotora,
thank you for looking after this issue.
Hi,
Hi,
Thank you @michalSBIT for the feedback.
I also got confirmation that we do *not* collect any information that would be categorized as PII.
