Hi All,

         I'm new to this sdk. I was wondering are there any examples where I can use vuforia to stream youtube video using Unity in android?

Thanks!

Note that a developer has shared an approach using some library called YouTubeAndroidPlayerApi available at https://developers.google.com/youtube/android/player/

in this thread here:

Something you may want to check out perhaps.

Hi, the Vuforia samples include a specific sample called *VideoPlayback*, which shows how video-playback can be achieveed;

it is also possible to stream the video from the network, however, the video URL should point to a valid video file (such as "http://myserver/my_video.mp4" for example) ; Youtube video URLs usually do not expose the actual video file, so the playback of those videos is generally not supported; perhaps one possibility might be to use some 3rd party library to extract and download a video file from the Youtube url , save it on the device storage (e.g. on the SD card) and then play the downloaded video file; however I cannot recommend any specific library or tool to do that (if you know some, feel free to share).
