Vuforia SDK Install Error

April 18, 2013 - 9:19pm #1

Hi,

I've completed step one of the process to develop with vuforia and now I'm currently on step two.

The issue I'm coming across is from the initial opening of the vuforia SDK file after downloading. It gives me a small pop-up window with this error:

"This Application has Unexpectedly Quit"

"Invocation of this Java Application has caused an InvocationTargetException. This application will now exit. (LAX)"

Any ideas on how I can continue with installing?

Thanks!

Hi kk_huk,

from the screenshot it looks like you are building from a sample location of the NDK, but that has nothing to do with Vuforia.

You should change dir to the Vuforia sample you are interested (e.g. ImageTargets) and run ndk-build from there.

My recommedination is to look here:

Vuforia SDK Install Error

Hi,

I'm installing on Windows.

How do I check if they have installed properly? I've tried the ndk-build which works properly.  I followed the steps of installing Java SE7u9 and the ADT bundle which comes with the SDK and eclipse set up with ADT.  Because this is my initial install with no experience with Android before, I don't particularly know how to tell if it is all working, even though the installs ran smoothly.

Hi,

are you installing on Windoes or Linux ?

It seems your Java installation may cause this issue, have you checked that your Java and Android SDK are installed properly ?
