What picture is used for tracking?

March 16, 2015 - 7:06am #1

Hi all,

I run the following code:

@Override
	public void onQCARUpdate(State state) {
		Frame frame = state.getFrame();
		for (int i = 0; i < frame.getNumImages(); i++)
		{
		    Image image = frame.getImage(i);
		    int width = image.getWidth();
		    int height = image.getHeight();

		    switch (image.getFormat())
		    {
		        case PIXEL_FORMAT.RGB565:
		            Log.d("rgb565 %dx%d", "rgb565: " + width + "x" + height);
		            break;
		        case PIXEL_FORMAT.RGB888:
		            Log.d("rgb888 %dx%d", "rgb888: " + width + "x" + height);
		            break;
		        case PIXEL_FORMAT.GRAYSCALE:
		            Log.d("grayscale %dx%d", "grayscale: " + width + "x" + height);
		            break;
		        case PIXEL_FORMAT.YUV:
		            Log.d("yuv %dx%d", "yuv: " + width + "x" + height);
		            break;
		    }
		}
	}

And the output is:

03-16 14:56:11.189: D/grayscale %dx%d(4834): grayscale: 640x480
03-16 14:56:11.189: D/rgb565 %dx%d(4834): rgb565: 640x480
03-16 14:56:11.189: D/grayscale %dx%d(4834): grayscale: 320x240
03-16 14:56:11.189: D/grayscale %dx%d(4834): grayscale: 160x120
03-16 14:56:11.189: D/grayscale %dx%d(4834): grayscale: 80x60

Which of these pictures is used for tracking? How can I set the downsampling rate to 0?

Thank you for your answer.

I want to compare this tool with others for my project. That suggests, that all tools have approximately the same configuration. Downsampled images cause more speed whereas original images provide quality. Or am I wrong with my assumption?

The full set of grayscale images are used. You can't set the rescaling factor.

What do you need to do with the images?
