Ok, native samples have been reduced.

Are there any guide how to set video as texture? Because most of the links on forum leads to "page not found"...

Latest native sample (v9.7.4 Android) is working with 3d models and 2d textures, but when I tried to set video as texture (in order to play the video on target recognition), it fails in decodeStream in loadTextureFromApk method....

Also, on native side (GLESRenderer.cpp), can the renderVideoBackground method be used for showing the video over the recognized target?

The features in the native samples for Android and iOS have been reduced to 2 some time ago.

I would like to get an answer too, please. I need the VideoPlayback advanced samples for Android and iOS. Until version 8 you could find the advanced samples in the Downloads section but no I can't find them anywhere.

I would really appreciate your assistance on this matter please.

Here: Getting Started with Vuforia Engine for Android Development it says about: "VideoPlayback-x-g-z sample showing how to play videos, convenience with image goals in Java".

But the downloaded archive only contains:

1. ImageTargetsNative-9-0-12.zip;

2. VuforiaSamples-9-0-12.zip.

SampleVideoPlayback-x-y-z NO!

Excuse me. I found the target for printing. I can't make the video appear. Where is the section: Advanced topics?

The samples for Android should contain also a video Target, please download the samples here: https://developer.vuforia.com/downloads/samples

Under Advanced Topics you have Video Playback and the printable target. https://developer.vuforia.com/sites/default/files/sample-apps/targets/videoplayback_targets.pdf
