Structure Sensor with iPad

My iPad (6th generation, Software Version 14.5.1) is equipped with a Structure Sensor (original Structure Sensor ST01, which is a LiDAR sensor). Is it possible to create area targets with the Vuforia Area Target Creator app with this setup? Currently, when running the app on the iPad, the login window does not pop up.
