Area Target? Is this for VR or AR?

Hi~

 

I saw many examples of MatterPort.

It seems that all these are for VR, not for AR.

Can I see some AR example or some Vuforia 9 AR example with Matterport camera?

Hi,

the Scans of the MatterPort are used to build an area target so you can place content in a large building for example.

Of course you can explore these scans in VR as well.

It is well explained and an example is given in this presentation:
