Occlusion does not work in Area Target

Is anyone able to get occlusion to work with Area Targets?

I scanned a room. Added some cubes inside the room and some outside the room. I can see the ones outside the room. I thought occlusion would block those if my area target had a surface there? Project Setup:

But when I am in AR, i can see the cube that should be behind the wall:

Let me know if you are able to get this work and how so.

My goal is to have different objects in different area targets. Right now they all show at once, even if it is "behind a wall".

Thanks!

For anyone having issues with occlusion with area targets, it could be that you have a legacy area target. Area targets that were created before version 9.7 have unsupported occlusion and mesh colliders, though you're still able to use them otherwise. Refer to the documentation here.

Otherwise checking the 'Add Occlusion Mesh' in the behaviour of the area target will add the mesh to occlude your objects.

Hope that helps.

I sort of solved it....I had to setup Unity and Vuforia on another computer and like magic the occlusion worked! No clue as to what i did differently.

Before I got it to work, I used the depth mask shader to create some occlusion with the walls and floor. that worked.

If I figure out what i did different on the new setup, I will post.
