Sample Project Error GLTF model is null

Since 9.8.5 I get following Error in the sample scene

 

Error while extracting model from .glb file: GLTF model is null.

UnityEngine.Debug:LogError(Object)

AreaTargetsDataManager:LoadDatasetModel(IEnumerable`1, String, Boolean) (at Assets/SamplesResources/Scripts/AreaTargetsDataManager.cs:126)

DataSetManager:LoadAreaTarget(String, String) (at Assets/SamplesResources/Scripts/DataSetManager.cs:238)

<LoadAreaTargetDataAsync>d__22:MoveNext() (at Assets/SamplesResources/Scripts/DataSetManager.cs:153)

UnityEngine.SetupCoroutine:InvokeMoveNext(IEnumerator, IntPtr)

 

The Matterport GLB files worked like a charm in previous Versions. I am using 9.8.5 3dt files exported with the new Area Target Generator. Anyone else faces this issue? I simply put them into streaming assets as I did in previous Vuforia Version. No more changes to scripts or scene.

Yes all that I have setup correctly. I have been using Area Targets for months, I am not a newbee. Am I the only one who faces this issue? It is still there with Vuforia SDK 9.8.8 and also Area Target Generator 9.8.8.

In my oppinion the Error Message is misleading because the error came when extracting from 3dt file and not glb

If I am not mistaken, StreamingAssets folder contains the .dat and .xml files. The rest go into Editor/Vuforia/AreaTargetName folder. Didn't ATG generate a unity package file? Import it by using Assets -> Import Package -> Custom Package.
