Clearer Cloud Recognition Instructions

I am relatively new to C# and Unity, but I have been successful with the regular image tracking.

 

I followed the Cloud Recognition instructions exactly, and it does not work for me. It does not scan my image, but instead logs that it scanned Vuforia Mars targets that are not even in my Cloud database. It even goes on to debug.log that it creates shapes that I have not even created in my scene or anywhere in the scripts.

 

Is there a better tutorial or anything in regards to implementing Cloud Recognition?

 

I am using Unity 2017.4.1f1

My apologies, you are correct! For some reason the first time I attempted using cloud reco, it would not recognize anything other than the 5 star image. I have not had that problem since. I am sure it was all my error lol. Thanks!

Hello,

Although I did not see your original post on this thread, I disagree with your statement that only 4 or 5-star images work with the service.

The star rating provides a heuristic analysis of the given target, but does not necessarily represent the actual run time tracking performance. It is to provide some level of feedback to help guide developers to optimize their targets.

I solved my issue.

 

Anyone else that is struggling with accomplishing cloud recognition, the images must be 5 star rating. 4 star would not be recognized in my case.
