Does the number of targets affect the response time ?

Hello everyone Testing cloud recognition with about 200 hundreds of image targets , we found the response was fast , within 1.5 sec avg. My app possibly can have several thousands image targets in the future. Could this many targets slow the response comparing to when some hundreds targets？ Or more generally does the number of targets could affect the response time? if it could, is there anything we could do to get the faster response or less slower response ?

The number of targets in your cloud database only minimally affects the query response time. We currently have customers with millions of targets in a single cloud database and the response times for them are excellent.
