I'm not asking how to draw the animation of the scanpoints or the scanbar, but instead I'm asking if the data associated with the scanpoints (location of image features) is avaialble to us as consumers of the library.

For the rest, if you want to implement a similar feature on your own, you can try that of course, but this would require a solid OpenGL and shaders programming background.
Hi, I understand that, but the current feature in Vuforia only enables the scanline and points when the server communication is running (during the scanning phase); i.e. this visual feature is tightly coupled with the CloudReco scanning, and cannot be used independently of it.
Of course nothing prevents you from rendering the scanline and/or scanpoints by writing your own OpenGL code for that and adding it to the _renderFrame() function in ImageTargets.cpp; in theory this is not extremely difficult to achieve if you are an experienced OpenGL programmer, but otherwise it can be quite involved.

Hi, the scan line and the scan points are specific features of CloudReco (see QCAR::TargetFinder class API); these are not available for local databases like the ones used in ImageTargets sample.
