Impossible to create target with valid image

Hi,

See attached images.

One works, not the other. The ui does not bring any valuable informations about why it fails.

Is it possible to have more informations than "Invalid file format.Only 8 bit gray scale or 24 bit RGB of file type JPG or PNG are allowed."?
