Hi,
I have been working with Cloud Recognition for android. I am getting "The network request has timed out, please check your internet connection and try again." whenever I use in 3G/2G internet connectivity but If I use in Wi-Fi network its working fine.
Is there any possibilities to change the network request time ? or What is the alternative way to make it work..? Please help us ...

Could you be more specific?
Is it 3G or 2G you have a problem with? ..and which network?
Typically the timeout period cannot be customised.

I'm also facing the same problem with 2G networks.. But not on all devices.

It may be. Do your targets include metadata, and if so how large is that? Also are you seeing the time-out when submitting the search query, or does it appear to get hung-up downloading the result?

The target meta data is 2 Bytes..it is a simple text file with a number in it...here is the log

I think it is your connection rate. Here is what we typically advise, concerning the device connectivity..

thanks for that...But, the same 2G connection (Same SIM) works fine on other mobile device. So, it looks like both the speeds (device GPRS speed + 2G connection).
Can't we tweak the connection timeout properties? may be just increase the timeout for 2G?
