New image target for cloud recognition not working

Hello,

I subscribed cloud recognition database developer plan. When I upload a new target in the database, my app cannot recognize that image target even though it is already activated. My app only recognize the old image targets (these old image targets have been there since last year. My app can recognized those image targets just a few hours before I deleted them and upload the new target). 

I have followed step by step the simple cloud reco tutorial (https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/faq/unity-how-do-i-create-simple-cloud-reco-app) a few time using vuforia 3.0 in unity 4.6 without any success.

Please refer to the attached files for more info.

Thus, my assumption right now is, my app cannot recognize new image target that have just been uploaded in the server.

It is something to do with the cloud reco server? Please help and advice.

This is what Vuforia promised in the FAQ but the issue is not fixed yet.

Time is running out. Please fix it immediately!

"You may use Vuforia 3.0 until June 30 2015. All target databases in your account will only be compatible with Vuforia 4.0 ( or newer ) after this date."

 

This is what Vuforia promised in the FAQ but the issue is not fixed yet.

I am using my exisiting legacy database + Vuforia 3.0 + Unity 4.5. Only old target could be recognized but not the newly added targets. 

Time is running out. Please fix it immediately!

We are still experiencing problems creating new targets in VWS. We get an error result code of TargetNameExist even though we have new names each time. The target appears to get created when I examine the cloud DB on the web, but the error response does not provide the target ID so we have no way of accessing it.

It is as stated:

So? What are the consequences on Vuforia side? What kind of security measures are you gonna install in order to prevent this in the future? This problem probably didn´t arise from some hang-up server but an update on the server that wasn´t properly tested?

For myself the last few days only summoned smaller issues, but we are trying to establish something bigger. If there would have been 72 hours where for example lets say 200 costumers, that were counting on it -> it would have had a huge impact on my business.

I for myself am looking very much forward for the final announcment of the new pricing-plan, which btw is pretty **** that you won´t publish it until the very last moment, since we all have to write offers for costumers...
I think it will be a very important step for Vuforia, ESPECIALY after the last few days just have shown us what kind of support we can expect.

Here's a workaround to try:

1. Delete an affected target
2. Re-upload that target to the Target Manager
3. Attempt to recognize the target

It appears a certain number of developers are being affected by this issue (as reported in a few other threads today)

We're currently investigating the issue. We'll update as soon as we have news.

We are having the very same issue atm. Old targets in the very same database work, but newly added ones don't work. All of them have 5 stars but don't even get recognized. We're using this feature commercially and this is a major issue since the magazine that is using the targets is shipping tomorrow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Already inactivated and re-activated the image targets, still no success.

Here is the screenshot of my Cloud DB named Test and 2 affected image targets (as unaffected image targets are already been deleted)

Of course, I also got this problem. New image target added yesterday and today(Feb 10 2015) are not working. 
I have two accounts but not work both. Please refer to image for this account name.

We de-activated / re-activated as aked but to no avail.

Any information from Vuforia about this matter?

Please PM me the name of your Cloud DB and 1 affected target name and 1 unaffected target name and the username associated with the account (if different than the one you are using here).

We have the same problem since yesterday. Added a new target and has been activated, but still cannot recognize. Try to recognize targets uploaded before yesterday can be recognized.

We are looking into this issue. As a test, could you inactivate and re-activate one of the affected targets in your Cloud DB and see if it works after that?

We are experiencing the same problems for at least 24 Hours now!
New image targets are not recognized even though active in our target manager!

Looks like a problem on Vuforias side to me, since I get no reco-event in the app in the first place, while old images keep working.

Please fix ASAP developer team! We pay for a service, without any guarantee on Vuforia´s side?!
How are we supposed to charge our own costumers for this?
