Speed of Cloud Service

Dear Support

We are building an app on basis of your cloud recognition service. The problem is that the service is really slow. We have to wait several minutes until the newly uploaded target is available. We need this to work on the fly. So that we add the target by the php API and some seconds later it should be available to recognize. Is this possible and how? Do we have to pay for this to work faster?

Hi, the newly uploaded targets require sometime to be processed, so that the status can become Active; the time required is typically in the order of a few minutes (e.g.

is it then possible to get an on premise installation of the cloud reco service for our own cloud server? or would it be a possibility to develop out own cloud service and deliver a self created vuforia target data to our app?

The Cloud Service can be used according to the terms defined in our website, and targets can be either created via the online Target Manager or via the VWS API.

Thank you very much! I see this time is necessary to calulate the keypoints and feature information from the image target. But it is extremely slow. I did a request for this problem to vuforia.

I stil have no reply from Vuforia about my processing time issue. We will have to change the SDK if there is no solution or possibility ...

Please give me some information whats going on...

I have queried this intenally; although, as far as I know, the Cloud Service is provided as is, so the customization you are suggesting is probably not something that can be easily done.

But I will update you as I get some feedback.
