Using Cloud Recognition data offline

Is it possible to use The Cloud Recognition data offline?. I mean downloading/updating the data when the device is online and then use downloaded data when the device is offline.

I am running into similar challenge - have you got to a solution?

My idea was to use the on device solution and do a manual sync by using the manager-api. (e.g. downloading the new package, etc.)

How ever - would be nice to have a solution that works out-of-the-box.

The Cloud Recognition service will not function when the device is not able to reach our servers.
