I am trying to display and play a video in the cloudReco sample app, however the video is black when on the target image.
When the target image is lost the video displays correctly.
Hi, I'll try to give my view on your questions (however, these are very subjective topics, so there is no "definitive" answer):
This is up to you, in both cases you need to integrate a good amount of code from one sample into the other, so I would say the two approaches can be considered roughly equivalent
or start developing my app with Unity extension?
Using Unity has many advantages (in particular, it usually requires much less coding and you can work a lot more "graphically" via the Editor); second big advantage is that if later on (as you anticipate) you need to render 3D models, with Unity you might have a much easier life (as you know, the iOS native samples simp,y use plain OpenGL, so importing 3D models is not that easy, as it requires either converting the models to C++ header files, or to integrate some 3rd party 3D rendering engine into your app).
However, you should also consider that you would need to learn Unity (which can take a little bit of time), while on iOS you already know how to code (based on what you say).
So, you should balance your application requirements (e.g. 3D models ? other advanced features ?) and your current programming skills / knowledge, and find the most suitable answer by yourself.
I have CloudReco app, wich I'm developing but now I have to show videos - so my first guess is the VideoPlayback sample. Here comes question: if I want to combine showing videos with CloudeReco sould I:
I've never used Unity, so far I was working only in Xcode with CloudReco sourcecode. Wich way will be faster - sample apps or Unity? For now I'm using showing images/texts on texture, but for now I want to add to it showing videos (and highly likely in near future also presenting 3D objects). Bearing in mind these circumstances could you show me wich way to go?

Ok. I don't have a specific advice on integrating the MPMoviePlayer library;
my recommendation would be to post this in the iOS-specific section of our Forum:
Perhaps some other iOS developers have tried the same library and might be able to share some advice.
