[VWS] Search By Image

Hi,

I understood that the VWS API has been built to CRUD a "Target" (=something that will be recognized, like an image, and its metadata) to manage data in the cloud.

My question may seem simple: why isn't it possible to send an image as a POST API call to be recognized in the cloud? Is it absolutely mandatory to use the Android, iOS or Unity SDK to recognize an image?

About all the doc provided here i allowed myself to open this bug because the links seem to be broken. This may explain my lack of understanding.
