Hello,I'm looking for some verification of what I've read to be a "Recognition Event" from the Vuforia Cloud Recognition Service Agreement from this link, https://developer.vuforia.com/legal/cloud-service-agreement.pdf . The agreement says, "'Recognition Event' means the response from the Service corresponding to a Query." I'm still a little unsure about what exactly is counted as a response from the Service.
I've looked at the sample cloud recognition sample, and I can see that the cloud recognition sends a search query to the Vuforia cloud service. A query appears to be sent based on the Vuforia code detecting trackable points in the scene. A callback checks to see if the search was a match or not. While monitoring the search queries, I could see that multiple search querys are sent that recieve no positive match to a marker. I kept the camera pointed at the same scene and noticed that another query was not sent. From reading the service agreement a "'Recognition Event' means the response from the Service corresponding to a Query," Does that mean that only a response from the Service that contains a positive match is counted as a recognition event, or are negative matches are also counted?
What is considered a "Recognition Event"?
Only the positive matches are counted as Recognition Events. Cloud Recognition search queries that don't return a matching search result from your Cloud Database are not counted against your quota.
