Create trackable without target manager

Hi!

Is it possible to generate a dataset of trackable on the fly (not using the target manager) and then instantiate theses trackables in the app programmaticaly (Unity 5). I've found differents part of vuforia doc and forum but some seems outdated and I'm quite confused.
