Displaying hologram behind/under image target

Hi, even though I position my 3D hologram in the middle of or behind my image target, when running the app it will be in the correct rotation but still get placed on top of the printed-out image target. Is there a way to change this so that my hologram appears like in the picture?

Yes can be achieved with Vuforia. In the Vuforia Core Sample apps, scene: 3-MultiTargets we demo occlusion. As per your example you can turn around the astronaut, push the astrounaut inside the box and disable MarsBox.Left /Right etc. to achieve the desired outcome.
